Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg is looking at ways to reduce supply chain disruptions. That includes a virtual meeting late this past week with officials from the Los Angeles and Long Beach ports to look for ways to reduce congestion at the ports. There was a separate meeting with trucking and labor groups to address the shortage of truck drivers. Buttigieg, Labor Secretary Marty Walsh and Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack are part of a White House Supply Chain Disruptions Task Force.
