Mountain Lake farmer Brandon Fast is the new chair of the Minnesota Corn Research and Promotion Council. Doug Albin of Clarkfield was elected vice-chair. Former Council Chairman Gary Prescher of Delavan is the treasurer and Duane Epland of Twin Lakes is secretary. John Mages of Belgrade was elected to the corn checkoff board, succeeding Mickey Peterson of Sacred Heart. Peterson has been on the council for 20 years.
