According to the USDA, 100 percent of North Dakota counties are eligible for emergency haying and grazing on CRP ground. Ninety-two percent of South Dakota counties and one-third of Minnesota counties also have that emergency designation. CRP participants requesting emergency haying and grazing must file a request with their county FSA office before taking action.
