This week’s Pioneer Agronomy Update comes from a corn impact plot located south of Crookston, Minnesota. The corn and soybeans in the area are trying to conserve moisture in amid the drought. “You can see where the corn is struggling and pineapple corn is starting early on in the day,” said Ben Aipperspach, senior research associate, Pioneer. “In this corn impact plot we are also watching for genetic differences in corn this time of the year and another thing standing out is buggy whipping in the corn.” Watch this latest report.
