A new reduced rate recommendation has been issued for Summit Agro’s HARVANTA insecticide for control of Colorado potato beetle. The rate, which was approved by the EPA, is as low as 5.5 fluid ounces per acre. The new recommendation allows potato growers to decrease the chemical load on their fields while controlling this pest, even when larger larvae or adults are present.
