President Biden’s budget proposal is getting a mixed response from the Senate. Hoeven said the tax increases being proposed are the wrong approach. Senate Agriculture Committee Chair Debbie Stabenow said the budget proposal is a positive step forward for farmers and rural America and she’ll continue to push for investments to build on President Biden’s commitment to climate-smart agriculture.
