Minnesota’s omnibus agriculture policy bill got approval from the state legislature on Monday. The bill includes a five-year extension to the Farmer Lender Mediation program to 2027 and would add an additional member to the Board of Animal Health who is a livestock producer and a member of a federally recognized tribe in Minnesota. The House passed the bill on a 79 to 55 vote. Then, the Senate passed the bill unanimously and it was sent to the governor.
