A federal appeals court has upheld a $25 million lower court decision against Bayer. The lawsuit claims non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma is linked to the use of glyphosate. With a two-to-one ruling, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals said the $20 million in punitive damages was constitutional “while close to the outer limits.” Bayer officials said it will pursue all legal options, including petitioning the Supreme Court to hear the case.
