Jamestown, North Dakota farmer Terry Wanzek says the fact that ADM is showing an interest in North Dakota for a soybean crush facility makes a big statement. “They have the money, background and knowledge and they see the potential. A lot of this soybean crush will probably go to another plant being talked about to produce biodiesel. This would further refine soybean oil. There will be another market for that in North Dakota as well.” Wanzek, also a state senator, is glad to see more value-added agriculture opportunities in North Dakota.
