Viterra has announced plans to build a canola crush plant at Regina, Saskatchewan. The facility will crush up to 2.5 million tons of canola per year and should be operational by late 2024. In the past month, Richardson International revealed it would double the size of its canola plant at York, Saskatchewan. Cargill is also building a new canola plant in Regina and expanding capacity at two other Canadian plants.
