Longtime North Dakota state veterinarian Dr. Susan Keller will retire two months from now on June 30. The Kansas native joined the North Dakota Department of Agriculture and State Board of Animal Health in 1997, where she has served as state veterinarian since 2004. As noted in a press release, Dr. Keller is looking forward to spending more time with her family on the Keller Broken Heart Ranch near Mandan. A search is now underway for Dr. Keller’s successor.
