In Bismarck, a $680 million bonding bill is on the way to Governor Burgum’s desk. An amendment that called for $30 million for township roads was taken out of this bill. The North Dakota Legislature also passed $30 million in new funding authority for the Bank of North Dakota’s Value-Added Guarantee Loan program and $10 million to support value-added agriculture projects. This past week, Burgum also signed legislation that standardizes the legal terms used the code dealing with the approval of livestock projects.
