North Dakota Senator John Hoeven met with USDA Deputy Secretary-Nominee Jewel Bronaugh and outlined the priorities for state farmers and ranchers. Hoeven wants the Quality Loss Adjustment program to be fully funded and the assistance should be distributed as soon as possible. Hoeven also highlighted the importance of crop insurance. The Senate Agriculture Committee will consider Bronaugh’s nomination on Thursday.
