House Agriculture Committee members met with Federal Maritime Commission Chairman Dan Maffei on Tuesday to discuss the ongoing shipping delays impacting U.S. agriculture. The is a follow-up from a letter sent to the commission in mid-March addressing concerns certain vessel operating common carriers are declining to ship ag exports. South Dakota Representative Dusty Johnson attended the meeting.
