As planters begin to roll, West Central Ag Services Sales Manager Clyde Kringlen is seeing some shift in rotations. “In comparison to the past, wheat acres are down. The corn and soybeans seem to be holding close to the same or up a bit. We’re seeing more edible beans, sunflowers and canola in the north. There is a change based on the market.” Kringlen is also hearing of varying product shortages. “A lot of it is due to the fact stuff hasn’t gotten here as fast as some were hoping. There are talks of shortages of other products.”
