USDA’s Quarterly Grain Stocks report shows corn stocks in all positions as of March 1 totaled 7.7 billion bushels, down three percent from one year ago and nearly in line with pre-report trade estimates. The report says 4.04 billion bushels of corn were stored on farms, down nine percent from one year ago. Soybean stocks in all positions as of March 1 totaled 1.56 billion bushels. That’s down 31 percent from a year ago. Soybeans stored on farm totaled 594 million bushels, 41 percent less than last year. All wheat stored in all positions as of March 1 totaled 1.31 billion bushels, seven percent less than one year ago. Wheat stored on farm totaled 284 million bushels, down 16 percent from one year ago.
