After significant prevented plant acreage in 2020, North Dakota farmers are expected to plant a huge corn and soybean crop this spring. North Dakota corn acreage is forecast to be up a monstrous 69 percent. Soybean acreage in North Dakota is projected at seven million acres. That’s up 22 percent from last year. In Minnesota, corn acres are on par with last year and soybean acres are expected to increase five percent. South Dakota’s corn and soybean acreage is forecast to be up 13 percent and 15 percent respectively.
