Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador made that point in response to nearly 30 U.S. farm groups who complained about the trade relationship with Mexico. The issues include Mexico’s proposed ban on glyphosate and biotech corn, a potato export ban and market access for U.S. dairy and meat products. In reference to the glyphosate ban, Obrador said he would not allow his people to be “poisoned.”
