Grain shipment continue to keep up to pace. “There were three weeks in a row of above average weekly needs,” said Matt Hines, market analyst, Loewen and Associates. “We need to average around 55 to 56 million bushels of corn moving out each week. This past week was 77 million bushels and the week before it was the second biggest in history, under 90 million bushels.” Traders were expecting a good corn number. “Then, grain sorghum backed off and the soybeans started to back off, as they should. It’s been good on the wheat side though.”
