FMC Ventures, which the venture capital arm of FMC Corporation, has invested in Scanit Technologies. Scanit is the creator of a wireless sensor that detects airborne pathogen spores before they can infect crops called SporeCam. FMC and Scanit will partner to evaluate Asian soybean rust in Brazil this year.
