While the trading ranges are very large, NAU Country Vice President of Farm Services Rich Morrison says this grain market is range bound looking for direction. “We set new all-time highs in the soybeans overnight. The fundamentals haven’t changed a lot, but we’re seeing profit taking.” Morrison thinks the market is waiting for demand and acreage numbers from USDA. “It’s a quiet trade.”
