Pilgrim’s Pride has pleaded guilty and will pay a fine of nearly $108 million. The company faced allegations of price-fixing and bid-rigging in the broiler chicken market. Other poultry companies face similar allegations, but Pilgrim’s Pride is the first one to plead guilty.
