The American Soybean Association, the National Corn Growers Association and National Cotton Council have filed joint comments to the U.S. International Trade Commission regarding the petition by the Mosaic Company to enforce countervailing duties on Russian and Moroccan imports and phosphate fertilizer. ASA President Kevin Scott, who farms at Valley Springs, South Dakota, said these import duties will have a negative impact on the availability of phosphate fertilizer in the U.S.
