Basis bids at the six regional grain elevators followed by the Red River Farm Network had few minor changes compared to the previous week. Wheat basis firmed by five cents at Minot, North Dakota and widened by seven cents at Warren, Minnesota. Minot went to no corn bid. Finley, North Dakota’s corn bid widened by five cents, the Grebner Grain Terminal narrowed by seven cents and Warren and Ulen, Minnesota widened by five cents. Soybean basis were unchanged. Spring wheat basis ranged from 25 to 65 cents under the March contract. Corn basis are mostly 25 to 55 cents under the March contract. Soybean basis range from 44 to 90 cents under the March contract. A few elevators are moving their soybean basis to deferred or new crop contracts.
