Demand for U.S. commodities remains strong. Martinson Ag Risk Management President Randy Martinson says we have not seen much demand rationing. “Even before the market dropped one dollar last week in the soybeans, we were still seeing aggressive sales. We hadn’t seen soybean sales for awhile. Last week brought in quite a few sales. It was strange. As the market went up, we started to see China come in to get needs met.” Last Monday’s weekly export inspections report confirmed very good demand. “That tells us we may not see many cancellations on what’s been sold. Everyone has been taking what they’re buying. China did cancel some orders, but not much. China is taking everything they can get.”
