The run-up in the corn and soybean market is being reflected in seed sales. “There is definitely a lot more optimism,” said John Aamodt, who is with Summit Seed at Larimore, North Dakota. “We’ll see corn acres increase year over year. Last year, everything was down considerably with the spring we had.” Aamodt says soybeans will also compete for acres this year.
