South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem has proposed the merger of the state agriculture and natural resources departments. House Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee Chairman Marty Overwig says the merger issue will be fully vetted in his committee. “I think there are good points and I think there’s probably some points where people have questions, but in the end, it is probably going to make for a better-run government.”
