The incoming Biden administration is including the U.S. Agency for International Development as a member of the National Security Council. USAID distributes U.S. food aid and works with the United Nations World Food Program. Samantha Power has been nominated to be the administrator for the agency. Power was the U.S. representative with the United Nations during the Obama administration.
