In the past year, the Trump administration repealed the controversial Waters of the United States rule and issued a new clean water Rule. American Farm Bureau Federation Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs Don Parrish expects the issue to get attention in the Biden White House. “Ultimately, what I think we’ll see the new administration stop defending the Trump administration’s rule in court while they figure out how to deal with it. There’s 14 active cases. It could be 18-to-36 months before the administration decides how to amend the Clean Water Act regulation.”
