The U.S. Supreme Court will review a lower court ruling from one year ago that limited the government’s ability to exempt small refineries from the Renewable Fuel Standard. In a joint statement, the plaintiffs in the case said the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals got the ruling right the first time. The plaintiffs are confident the Supreme Court will affirm the Tenth Court’s decision. The plaintiffs in this case include the Renewable Fuels Association, National Corn Growers Association, National Farmers Union and the American Coalition for Ethanol. The Supreme Court may hear the case as soon as April.
