Sustainability Partnerships Can Help Potato Growers

Published January 8, 2021

JR Simplot Company Global Sustainability Manager Brandy Wilson thinks there’s a lot to be said for sustainability partnerships amid the climate change discussions. “How do we solve this problem in a way that’s profitable for growers and all of us? Sustainability is really about people, planet and profit.” said Wilson. “Beyond saying what partnerships can we do to help install more soil health practices on the farm, we need to be looking at what we are choosing to eat, how do we make variety decisions and what can we do to advance sustainability to make money for everyone and the planet a better place?” Wilson was part of a climate change panel during the virtual Potato Expo.
