The Minnesota Automobile Dealers Association has filed a lawsuit in federal court, saying the Walz Administration does not have the authority to adopt California vehicle emissions standards. The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency is drafting a rule requiring carmakers to have more zero-emissions vehicles in the state, starting in 2025. MADA has asked the Walz Administration to compromise, but said it has no choice but to bring the issue to court.
