The Ag CEO Council, which is made up of national farm organization leaders, has met with the Biden Administration’s EPA transition team. National Association of Wheat Growers CEO Chandler Goule says that included an opportunity to sit down with the incoming EPA Administrator Michael Regan. The importance of science-based decisions was emphasized. “We also talked about WOTUS, knowing that is a major issue for growers, especially for those in the Northern Plains,” said Goule. “We have been trying to meet with as many transition teams for each agency as possible. Not only to introduce ourselves, we want to make sure they can hit the ground running and agriculture can be part of the solution.”
