CoBank Knowledge Exchange Division Manager Tanner Emke says demand will surface, but that will take some time. “We’ve got to get the majority of U.S. consumers vaccinated first and it’s going to be until summer before that happens.” Emke sees a slow, steady increase in demand rather than a snap back. “We think there’s going to be pent up demand for people who want to go back out to restaurants, see schools back in session and that will take awhile.”
