The Centers for Disease Control Advisory Committee on Immunization Priority said frontline meat and poultry workers should be some of the first to get the new COVID vaccine. The agriculture industry is pleased with the CDC’s recommendation. In a statement, the North American Meat Institute CEO Julie Anna Potts said this is a critical step in the long-term safety of those agricultural workers.
