Katherine Tai has been picked as the next U.S. Trade Representative. Tai worked at USTR from 2007-to-2014 where she focused on China trade issues. Tai is now the chief trade counsel for the House Ways and Means Committee. “She is very good on trade policy and we see some good opportunities there,” said Josh Tonsager, Vice President of Policy and Communications, National Association of Wheat Growers.
