A coalition of biofuel groups filed a motion in the U.S. Court of Appeals in Washington D.C. today requesting the EPA comply with a 2017 court ruling on small refinery exemptions. The coalition is asking the court to require the EPA to issue a 500-million-gallon curative obligation to make up for lost gallons no longer than six months after the court’s order. The groups do not want the court to extend the deadline. The American Coalition for Ethanol, Growth Energy, National Biodiesel Board and others filed the motion. Read the motion.
