Near Lakota, Huso Crop Consulting owner Mark Huso says farmers got a lot of fieldwork done the first week of November. “We had a nice fertilizer push and some of the area was concerned about moisture in the soil, but a big chunk of the area got fertilizer on. A lot of tillage, scraping and ditching happened.” Huso says the dry fields could get some fertilizer next spring and there’s not much corn left to harvest near Lakota. “That’s been a fun part of the last few weeks. It looks good in the area.”
