The U.S. Department of Agriculture is investing $7 million to provide broadband service to underserved rural areas of North Dakota and Montana. Reservation Telephone Company will use a $6.9 million grant to install fiber in Dawson, Richland and Wibaux counties in Montana and McKenzie County in North Dakota. This investment is part of the $550 million Congress allocated to the second round of the ReConnect Program.
