The Center for Biological Diversity and the Center for Food Safety have filed a lawsuit against the Environmental Protection Agency. The environmental activist groups claim the EPA failed to consult with federal wildlife agencies before approving a new fungicide with the active ingredient inpyrfluxam. This fungicide is being manufactured by Valent and can be used on corn, soybeans, sunflowers and other crops.
