Over the past eight months, China has purchased $23 billion in U.S. ag commodities. That’s 71 percent of the target established in the phase one trade deal. U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer said the trade agreement has resulted in “remarkable improvements” in the U.S.’s agricultural trade relationship with China.
