Donnelly, Minnesota Co-op Manager Bob Burner says harvest is beginning to wrap up. “The soybean crop is out of the way and most of the corn is harvested. Soybean yields are average and the corn yields are above average with good test weight. The thing that was so different was so much of our corn came out of the field under 20 percent moisture.” This means less propane sold for the co-op, but a big benefit for the farmers. “Farmers saved a lot of money in corn drying this year.”
