Jason Simmons, who has South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem’s agricultural advisor, will move to the Department of Agriculture. Simmons will work on the merger of the agriculture and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources. Allen Cambon has taken over the job as the governor’s ag advisor. Previously, Cambon oversaw agriculture issues for Louisiana Congressman Ralph Abraham.
