South Dakota’s average corn yield is forecast at 165 bushels per acre. If realized, that would be record high and up more than 20 bushels from last year. Soybean yields are projected at 48 bushels per acre, up 5.5 bushels from one year ago. Sunflower production in South Dakota is estimated to be 33 percent larger than last year.
