Farmers are working overtime to get the crops harvested and move onto fall fieldwork. The open fall has helped move the soybean harvest forward. BASF Innovation Specialist Henry Steinberger says yields vary. The combines are also starting to move into the corn. “We’ve got a few guys around Jamestown starting to dip into the little bit of corn that got planted in Stutsman County,” said Steinberger. “We only got about 20 percent of our corn acres in compared to last year. Moisture is in the 20 percent club and yields look really, really strong.”
