In central Illinois, market analyst Matt Bennett says there have been good drying days and the corn harvest is underway. The soybeans are also going through combine. “We saw some incredible yields and we also saw some nitrogen loss. We were super wet in southern Illinois, so that’s to be expected, but we’re pleased with the overall soybean yields so far. If farmers aren’t selling off the combine, I don’t know what they’re waiting on.”
