According to Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, the United States will increase its import quota for Brazilian sugar by 80,000 tons. In exchange, Brazil will open its market to more U.S. ethanol. Bolsonaro made that announcement on Twitter, but the news has not been confirmed by the U.S. Trade Representative’s Office.
