Lawmakers start to return to Washington D.C. after Labor Day. One item on the agenda is restarting earlier failed talks on another coronavirus relief package. Crops, livestock and biofuel producers are still trying to recover from billions of dollars in losses. Last week, Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue told state Ag officials that President Donald Trump could deal out more help for farmers this year. The most recent approval was an extra $1 billion for the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program’s Food Box Program.
