Small grain growers around the country will be surveyed in the first two weeks of September to get a comprehensive look at the 2020 production and supply of wheat, oats, barley and rye. North Dakota State Statistician Darin Jantzi says responses to the survey will also be used in calculating county yields. Survey results will be published in several reports, including the USDA’s annual Small Grains Summary and the quarterly Grain Stocks report released on September 30.
