The House is currently on recess, but lawmakers will be ready to go back to Washington D.C. for a vote on a COVID-19 relief package once an agreement is reached. “I’ve seen this happen a few times before in my first term,” said Minnesota Representative Angie Craig. “I think in the next week or two, the Senate will get their act together and come back with a more serious proposal for COVID-19 relief.” Craig wants a compromised bill for agriculture to look more like the HEROES Act. In the meantime, Craig will attend the virtual Farmfest event on Wednesday. “I’m really looking forward to showcasing to Minnesota farmers what I’ve been doing as a critical member of the House Agriculture Committee the last year and a half.”
